IFPO is a professional organization for security practitioners that offers a variety of quality and reasonably priced education and training programs. This organization is ideal for those just starting out in security, those with limited budgets, or those individuals wanting to add more tools to the toolbox. Some member’s benefits include 10% off of all training and education, and access to IFPO’s member payment plan for education/training programs. In addition to providing quality training/education IFPO has partnered with Kaplan University in order to provide IFPO graduates with discounted undergraduate courses. Education & Training Programs:
IFPO provides education and training in the form of certifications and certificate programs. The certification programs they offer are as follows: Certified Protection Officer Program (CPO), Certified Protection Officer Instructor (CPOI), and Certified in Security Supervision and Management (CSSM). They also offer the following certificate programs: Security Supervision and Management Program (SSMP),Officer Basic Training, Entry Level Protection Officer (ELPO),Professional Security Officer Program (PSOP), Basic Protection Officer Program (BPO), and Professional Development Program (PDP) Series.
Program graduates can take advantage of IFPO’s educational benefits. IFPO has partnered with Kaplan University to provide online flexible degree options for IFPO graduates. Also, graduates and their immediate family receive special tuition reduced 30% in undergraduate programs based on current tuition rates.
IFPO offers membership to individuals, students, and corporations. Membership prices are very reasonable with individual memberships starting at $60 for the first year and $35 a year to renew.
